‘Soft Bodies Hard Facts’ depicts the before and after scene of two women murdered by the Taliban. The work is part of a larger project examining the plight of women using visceral evidence of atrocities committed against them in countries such as Afghanistan. Commentary by Hadi Zaher, an Afghan-Australian, on the context in which such crimes are committed has been incorporated into cloth-like fragments around the event.
